1 Make a rectangle using the Rounded Rectangle tool.
2 Create a second rounded rectangle.
3 Choose both the rectangles and press Add to shape area. Click on Expand.
4 The bus should look like the one below.
5 Select the Rounded Rectangle tool and click on the page. Change the Corner Radius to 3 pt.
6 Make a door and two windows and then create the passenger windows with the Rounded Rectangle tool.
7 Change the windows fill colour.
8 Create a black circle by holding down the Shift key using the Ellipse tool.
9 Select the wheel and double-click the Scale tool.
10 Scale it down to 50% and Copy.
11 Change the colour of the inner circle and choose both the circles. Press Alt and Shift then drag to duplicate.
12 Make air slats for the front of the bus using a darker shade and the Rectangle tool.
13 Add the text to the side for school bus using a simple font.
14 Draw a simple character for the students.
15 Group the two objects and duplicate by pressing Alt. Then press Control+D to duplicate again. With the Direct Selection tool change the colours of each student.
16 And the school bus is ready!
